TMR summarizes 2021

With a new production plant, new international projects, a 43.5% year-on-year increase in sales and a 30% year-on-year increase in operating profits – TMR Plastics can consider 2021 to have been a very successful year. However, the company is not sitting on its laurels and is already starting to implement further ambitious business goals.

“One of the most important moments of the last few months was undoubtedly the transfer of our production to a new, almost twice as big (comparing to previous premises) factory in Bydgoszcz. As far as the company’s financial results are concerned, we ended the year with sales of nearly PLN 60.2 million, up 43.5% year-on-year. Furthermore, operating profits came in at nearly PLN 4.7m, 30% better than in 2020”, explains Georgi Giochev, Managing Director, TMR Plastics.

TMR’s 3500 sqm Bydgoszcz headquarters has a 1000 sqm warehouse and 500 sqm of modern, comfortable office space. The new factory has been equipped with three additional state-of-the-art machines with a clamping force of 200, 450 and 500 tons.

In 2021, TMR Plastics completed a total of sixteen projects for companies from sectors including the medical industry. A project for one customer consisted of as many as 27 products and due to its scale, molds were made in three tool rooms. Last year also saw TMR’s first project in the fire protection sector with the company being responsible for a fire extinguisher component.

“In the coming months, we will focus on consistently expanding our portfolio of projects, and one of our top priorities will certainly be the development of cooperation with clients from the medical industry. Undoubtedly, we have set the bar very high, but I believe that 2022 will be at least as good as the last twelve months”, summarizes Georgi Giochev.
